The Arduino Due is a microcontroller board based on the Atmel SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 CPU. It is the first Arduino board featuring a 32-bit ARM core microcontroller. It offers 54 digital input/output pins, 12 of which can be used as PWM outputs, 12 analog inputs, 4 UARTs, and a clock speed of 84 MHz. The board also includes USB OTG, 2 DACs, 2 TWIs, a power jack, SPI and JTAG headers, a reset button, and an erase button. The board supports micro-USB power or AC-to-DC adapters/batteries. It’s compatible with Arduino shields that work at 3.3V and adhere to the 1.0 Arduino pinout. Warning: The Arduino Due operates at 3.3V. Applying voltages higher than 3.3V to any I/O pin may damage the board.
