1N4002 Diode – SDDx0051

The 1N4002 is a general-purpose plastic rectifier designed to provide reliable performance in power supplies, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diode applications. This diode offers a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 100V, a forward average current (If) of 1A, and a low forward voltage drop, making it ideal for efficient rectification. Additionally, the diode features a high forward surge current of up to 30A, allowing it to handle high inrush currents without damage. With a molded epoxy body and DO-41 package, it offers durability and ease of use. It operates in a wide temperature range from -50°C to +150°C, making it suitable for use in demanding applications.
