Arduino – Mega 2560 REV3, A000067 – DEDB0025

The Arduino Mega 2560 is a microcontroller board powered by the ATmega2560 chip. It offers 54 digital input/output pins (15 of which support PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB port, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It includes everything necessary to run the microcontroller; you can simply connect it to a computer using a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started. The Mega 2560 is compatible with most shields designed for the Uno, as well as the older Duemilanove or Diecimila boards.
